The 2010 Olympics are fast approaching and will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. So what better place to find all of the need to know information than the Official Website of Vancouver 2010.

The colours of the Official Website of Vancouver 2010 are not boring, ranging from blues, greens, oranges, and whites. The website itself sits off on the left hand side of the screen with an illustrated woman holding the olympic flame off to the right (this image will change throughout the website depending on the page that you are on). The main header and navigation runs along the top with the rest of the page broken up into three columns. There is only one Santa Claus, so that means there is only one official website of the North Pole. The best part of the website is that the North Pole is not exclusive to only the little boys and little girls; there is links and information for parents and teachers as well.

The website boasts of the traditional Christmas colours with snowflakes in the background. The North Pole village consists of many snow covered buildings, and when you explore the village some more you will come across cartoon elves and reindeer. The design of the website is based around the interactivity in all of the images that you will come across. Also, don’t forget to look at the countdown for Christmas at the top.

When entering the website you are greeted by Raymond who guides you around the North Pole. As mentioned before, all of the images throughout the website allow you to interact with them. Once you start exploring you are also given the option of button navigation along the top if you are more comfortable with that. The content of the website is easily divided up between what is meant for children, teachers, and parents. The fun sounds and animation make it an easy website to explore.
